12 ноября в Государственном Гидрологическом институте (ГГИ, г.Санкт-Петербург) под председательством Руководителя Росгидромета А.В.Фролова прошло очередное заседание Национального комитета РФ по Международной гидрологической программе ЮНЕСКО. В работе заседания приняли участие члены Национального комитета и ведущие сотрудники ГГИ.

В ходе заседания были заслушаны доклады:

1. В.С.Вуглинский «О работе Международного центра озер и водохранилищ»

2. З.Д.Копалиани «Об участии в работе Международного Симпозиума «Паводки – глобальная проблема, требующая локальных решений».

3. О.В.Горелиц «Об итогах работы делегации Национального комитета РФ по МГП ЮНЕСКО на 19-й сессии Межправительственного совета МГП ЮНЕСКО».

Были обсуждены вопросы подготовки плана мероприятий Национального комитета на 2011 г., в том числе организация II Совещания представителей НК по МГП стран СНГ и подготовка проведения VII Гидрологического съезда в 2013 г.
